During this year, creating books has become a kind of meditation for us, and also - an opportunity to travel without leaving home. And many of our customers also appreciated the beauty of the printed photos. So, we want to tell you a little more about what are the features and what it takes for us to create a good photo book for you.
PAGES
Can be thin (as in a magazine) and thick (glued to a plastic base). Thick-page photo books benefit slightly from paper quality but lose heavily in weight (heavy) and the number of pages (maximum 80 pages).
COVER AND PERSONALIZATION
Huge amount of materials to choose from. Among them - are natural wood, various types of fabrics, and eco-leather. Our favorite books are with a fabric cover. The inscription on the cover can be made in the form of embossing or metal sign with engraving. Above the first page is a tracing paper on which any inscription or logo can be applied. Additionally, you can order a box for storing books.
FORMAT AND SIZE
The optimal format is square. Although you can make a book rectangular (with a book or landscape orientation). The optimal number of pages is 60 on thick sheets (maximum 80) and 100-150 on thin sheets (maximum 260). The optimal size is 30x30 cm (spread 30x60 cm). However, you can create a book of other sizes, depending on your ideas and wishes.
LAYOUT AND QUANTITY OF PHOTOS
For the book, you should choose 60-100 photographs (maybe more if the book will be on thin pages for a large number of spreads). It is important that you choose the photos on your own, because the book is primarily for you, not for the photographer. But a good minimalist layout is our concern.
